KONY 2012 is a film by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice. If you aren’t one of the 50 million people who’ve watched this short film in the last few weeks, it is worth watching to the end (it is about as long as a sitcom).

This is a profoundly inspiring, absolutely breathtaking video — well worth 10 minutes of your time. I’m smitten by the child (around 4 minutes in), and everyday I like to remind myself of the man’s parting words “Let the gratefulness overflow into blessing all around you…And then it will really be a good day.”

What inspires you or makes you laugh?
Several times a week, I take a photograph of something I find beautiful or inspiring, or something I feel grateful for. I was inspired to do this by Hailey Bartholomew’s film. Often, I just take the photo with my phone, and usually, it never gets shared.
